Flying X Ranch
Flying Ranch is Hiring WRANGLERS for the 2023 season!
Come join our team on this incredible remote ranch this year! Season is April 1st – October 31st.
The Ranch:
We are a ranch of about 20,000+ acres of recreational, hay, meadows, mountains, and canyon land. Located 33 miles outside of Wheatland WY, 1 hour to Laramie, and 1.5 hours to Cheyenne. We are a unique operation in that we are a closed ranch of around 300 partnerships allowing only partners to keep their horses on the ranch seasonally or year round. The ranch is a large community offering fun activities all season long from poker rides, “Arena Games” series, overnight trips, trail rides, spa days, family fun days, and more that wranglers help run. We have anywhere from 40-130 head of horse’s year round between the ranch horses and partners. We rotate pastures all spring, summer, and fall anywhere from right across the corrals to 4+ miles from the corrals, so some days are long in the saddle. We offer guided rides on the weekends and private rides are available all week. This year we will be doing poker rides, rodeo series, long rides, overnight trips, and other activities wranglers will be guiding along with our normal ride schedule. Please note there are NO CATTLE.
