Equity Lifestyle Properties - Rancho Oso
ELS is seeking a Wrangler for our RV Campground and Resort in Santa Barbara, CA. As a Wrangler, you will provide excellent customer service to our guests by maintaining healthy horses and providing a safe riding environment.
What will your job look like?
-You provide routine care to horses and livestock including grooming and feeding.
-You saddle and unsaddle horses, adjusting equipment to accommodate each guest.
-You lead guests on educational trail rides throughout wooden trails.
-You maintain cleanliness of stables and perform trail maintenance as needed for trail safety.
-You monitor the condition of equipment, and assist in general repairs.
-You perform other duties, as assigned.
These are the qualifications we are looking for:
-You have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
-You have demonstrated horsemanship skills.
-You are knowledgeable about safety standards and equipment used in horse care.
-If you have previous experience with novice riders, this is a plus.
-Your communication and customer service skills are superb.
-You can safely lift up to 50 pounds.
