WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR 2020 SEASON!
Jackson Stables, Inc. is a family owned business operating on the grounds of the YMCA of the Rockies – Estes Park Center located in Estes Park, Colorado. We offer guided horseback riding tours through Rocky Mountain National Park that range from a one hour ride to an eight hour ride. We are a seasonal business, open from the beginning of March through the end of October. Positions are available for a variety of dates.
We are looking for courteous, dedicated, responsible, outgoing, energetic, hard working applicants who have horse experience and good people skills. We generally hire a staff of 20 to 25 college age people.
The job entails the care of over 100 horses (feeding, grooming, saddling, doctoring, corral cleaning, maintenance, etc.) and guiding groups of tourists on horseback through YMCA property and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Room and board is provided with this position. Rooms are separate bunkhouse style cabins for males and females and meals are provided by the YMCA of the Rockies.
Monthly Salary is provided and tips can be very substantial.
