We seek an individual or couple skilled in horse and animal care (multiple species). Position involves feeding, maintaining water tanks, manure removal, checking on health status – approx 5 to 6 hrs/day for one person, 5-6 day/wk (total of about 30 hrs/wk). Working weekends is necessary. Position involves heavy lifting, about 500 lbs each feeding (hay bales, feed buckets, feed bags, etc). That is your “base pay”, and from there if you can do grass cutting, weedwacking, maintenance, painting, barefoot trims, horse and mule training and other ranch type of work you can earn more. We prefer live-onsite folks as there really are no rentals in the community. We have private housing available for rent at a discount rate with utilities included. Would also like help with housekeeping for guest rooms (part-time as needed).
