Wrangler/Packer
Retrieval of 20-30 working horses from corral each morning. Daily care and feeding of 30+ horses. Assist Hunting Guides in saddling and unsaddling their string daily. Knowledgeable in packing, natural horsemanship, western riding, western tack, basic equine safety and first aid. Responsible for packing out elk, deer and camp gear. Providing horseback riding and safety instruction to riders of all ages and abilities. Basic ranch hand/camp jack duties including corral and/or tack repairs, guest tent housekeeping and camp stove care
Candidates should be upbeat and positive, enjoy working with people as much as horses, ready to have fun and willing to learn and improve. Team player. September 12th – October 27th, 2017

Camp Cook/Chef
Commercial kitchen is provided as well as generator driven power. Early morning breakfast prep and service of 18-25 guest/staff. Prep and display lunch supplies for personal sack lunch prep by guest/staff.
Prep and serve dinner. Dinners are typically hearty, home cooked meals. Dinners will include main course as well as dessert. Steaks, Pork Loin, Chicken, Ham and Turkey Dinner are 5 main dinners (along with a starch, vegetable and bread). Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food storage areas. Must be able to help with inventory and work closely with owner to create grocery lists and meal planning, ordering. Being able to look at what we have and be creative to minimize food waste is critically important. Will need to meal plan at least two weeks out.
