Kaos Sheep Outfit
Kaos Sheep Outfit is a mobile sheep company with a range over 4 counties in Northern California. We graze sheep in vineyards, orchards, crop residue, fire fuel reduction and range. We are looking for an assistant manger who will bring more to our current team. Previous management or sheep experience required.
This job includes:
– 2-5 hours of driving a day
– hauling water, camps and trailers
– Knowledge of herd health and animal husbandry (lambing, shearing, lamb marking, worming, herding)
– build electric fence
– bringing supplies (groceries, gas, propane) to sheepherder camps
Favored experience:
– Mechanical experience
– Technological knowledge
– Spanish
– dog handling
Salary: $42,000/yr
Years of experience preferred: 2 yrs
