Seeking an experienced ranch manager with a positive attitude, and a clean bill of health, who can lift 50-pound hay bales with ease. Needs to be able to work in all weather conditions. Experience around horses is important. Not afraid to get your hands dirty and loves working outside. No issues with health, drugs, or alcohol.
Responsibilities include:
- Checking horses, feeding and mucking
- Watering the alfalfa, irrigation maintenance and fencing
- Manure management
- Snow plowing/removal – trash removal
- Maintaining the exterior of home/buildings including light carpentry/painting
- Landscape work, mowing, weeding, some planting, fencing, etc.
- Operating skid steer, lawn mower, flatbed trailer, dump trailer, new John Deer tractor
- Experience with welding, framing, electrical, and plumbing a plus
Qualifications:
2-4 years of similar experience preferred, please provide a cover letter outlining your experience. References required.
Schedule expectations and wage:
7 days a week, approximately 15-20 hours per week,
annual compensation of $40,000 – $49,000 based on experience.
Location: Tooele / Stansbury area
