We are seeking a seasoned Ranch Manager (individual or couple) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our expansive property nestled in the heart of the NE Wyoming Black Hills. As the steward of this 5600-acre ranch, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of ranching and land management activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team, maintain high standards of property upkeep, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a stunning Western landscape.
Property Amenities
- 10 stand sporting clays course, 5-stand shotgun, handgun, and 250-yard rifle ranges
- Event center, conference center, VIP lodge, 5 guest cabins, equestrian center and bunkhouse
- Owner’s residence, ranch manager home, staff homes
- ATV trails, hiking trails, warm-water fishing, small volume livestock operations with cattle, goats, chickens, ducks
- Garden, greenhouse, orchard, beekeeping
Compensation: competitive and appropriate to experience and depth of capabilities; includes housing, utilities, paid vacation, and negotiable opportunities (i.e., personal horse boarding)

Animal Husbandry
- Hiring, training, and managing support staff

- Small scale cattle operation
- Farm & coop management to include daily care and feeding of small livestock (chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats)
Equipment and Facilities management
- Hiring, training, and managing support staff and managing contractors
- Building Maintenance
- Equipment maintenance
- Fencing repairs
- Light Construction, etc.
Gardening, Farming & Landscaping
- Culinary garden support
- Orchard maintenance
- Green house maintenance
- Apiary (beekeeping)
- Farming – soil health, planting & management (wildlife habitat, not food crops)
- Landscaping & grounds maintenance – mowing, weed-eating, weeding, planting, fertilizing, pond health, etc.
- Irrigation experience a huge plus
General Hospitality Support
- Guest Relations – experienced in hospitality or willing to learn about providing a high-end experience for property guests
- Housekeeping and light maintenance for homes, cabins, and improvements
- Miscellaneous event support
