Welcome to the 1911 Cattle Co., where tradition meets today. We are closing soon on a ranch where we will be starting a cattle operation to vertically integrate the raising and production of top-grade grass fed and grass-fed / corn-finished cattle. We will be a grass to fork operation. It’s soon to be owned and operated by a prominent Texas family who brings over a century of business and customer service excellence to a new cattle operation.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ranch Manager to lead our team in maintaining and enhancing the operations of our ranch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cattle Management: Create a program that is from grass to fork where we will raise, produce, and retail our own private label beef. Oversee the nutrition, breeding, and raising, ensuring top-quality livestock and sustainable practices.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily ranch operations, including grazing management, feed programs, and maintenance of ranch facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise staff and vendors as needed, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Wildlife Management: Monitor and manage wildlife including: fish hatcheries, duck and bird population, native wildlife, and high fenced wildlife resources, including fencing, gates management, feeding, nutrition, harvesting, equipment, and supplies, to maximize success and sustainability.
  • Resource Management: Monitor and manage ranch resources, including land, equipment, and supplies, to maximize productivity and sustainability.
  • Community Engagement: Represent The 1911 Cattle Co. in the local community, building relationships and promoting the values and mission of our ranch.

  • Proven experience or education suiting the key responsibilities
  • Strong leadership
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
