Wildflower Farm
Seeking a farm manager for 1,000 acre ranch in Nebraska . Someone who is organized and self reliant and has knowledge of horse and cows care . The ranch is partially leased out to cattle operation but owner has retired performance horses and small number of cattle on property .
Daily care of livestock including feeding, watering, grooming, and wound care . Ability to know when to call between and or transport animals to vet .
Also property management including irrigation, Maintenance, mowing, weeding, and landscape. Fence repair and building . Knowledge of equipment such as tractors skid steers etc, Equipment Maintenance or transport to Maintenance . Dead fall clean up and general building Maintenance and repair .
Salary: Based on experience but basis of $50k plus benefits of 70%. Health care dental and vision paid by employer, paid time off, 401k plan with employer matching, employer short and long term disability, and employer paid life insurance .
