Ranch Manager/Foreman needed at Veteran Owned Wagyu Ranch in Florida.

Our farm is a family-owned Full Blood Wagyu ranch committed to producing high quality Wagyu beef on fully regenerative pastures. We operate a full-cycle beef program from breeding and finishing cattle on the ranch to marketing and selling the premium beef we produce. Our family works tirelessly to ensure we follow best practices, including many of the renowned techniques from Japan, to create an artisanal Wagyu brand for discerning consumers.

About the Position: We are looking for a full-time Ranch Manager/Foreman who is not just looking for a job, but is eager to become a true partner in the growth of our business. This role goes beyond day-to-day operations; we want someone who shares our passion for producing the highest-quality Wagyu beef and is invested in helping us scale the business. As the sole contractor working alongside our family, you will be integral in managing the ranch, overseeing herd health, feeding programs, equipment maintenance, and property upkeep. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the farm, contributing to the development of new revenue streams and business strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Herd Management: Oversee herd health, breeding, vaccinations, calving, and record-keeping.
  • Feeding Program: Manage custom feeding, hay procurement and handling, and supplements for the herd, including special regimes for finishing, weaning, and pre-calving.
  • Pasture & Property Maintenance: Maintain pastures, fencing, water systems, and ranch infrastructure; perform weekly inspections and rotational grazing.
  • Equipment & Facility Upkeep: Perform routine equipment maintenance, manage repairs, and maintain vehicles, tools, and facilities (sheds, barns, etc.).
  • Business Operations: Manage employees and day labor as needed, monitor operating costs, collaborate on business planning, and assist in carcass processing, meat packaging, and shipping as needed.
  • Landscaping & Security: Oversee property landscaping, garden maintenance, and ensure ranch security, including trespassing issues and animal threats.

General Ranch Duties:

  • Fence and water line maintenance, manure management, forestry work, trail maintenance, and weed/fence line clearing as needed.
