Jolly Ranch
Ranch management couple / team, full time, at 1,200 acre ranch in sierra foothills California. Cattle / agricultural skills, hospitality skills, and good mechanical knowledge required. Requires significant experience in similar situations working on and managing agricultural property. Harmonious team an imperative, hard workers in unsupervised situations and must be able to complete projects and work independently. Strong management and communication skills required.
Agricultural work includes care and training of horses, run cattle. Maintain shops, barns, roads, fences, ponds, stock water, irrigation, management of timber, equipment maintenance and repair, safety and security of ranch, and purchasing of ranch supplies. Ability to operate equipment and do equipment maintenance and repair. Carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills are required.
Domestic work includes housekeeping, maintenance of owner’s house, guest houses, landscape and pool. Help with shopping, cooking and housekeeping when owner / guests are on ranch. Communicate and coordinate with owner to prepare for ranch events.
Must have valid California driver’s licenses, clean driving record, no criminal record or outstanding warrants, must be non-smokers and drug free. Clean neat and organized people. Will provide nice 3 bedroom house on property, ranch truck, salary and health benefits.
