We have a small ranch with livestock. We are in need of 1 dependable hired hand with skills to care for livestock as well as general ranch skills of running equipment, and building fences, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a small ranch with multiple animals. Must be knowledgeable and have the ability to work independently, and take instructions. The duties first and foremost is to feed and water animals twice daily. Keep the troughs clean, free of algae, and filled. After that the tasks will be varied and different from day to day. It may include building fences, pens, building shelters, or going to pickup feed and supplies. These are just a few of the duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Drivers license with responsible transportation.
- Submit to background check
- Be able to pull trailer and take animals to vet when necessary.
- Knowledge of horses, cows, chickens, and pigs.
- Be able to drive a tractor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
