Position descriptions:
Seeking an individual to provide year round support to barn manager at a non-profit located in Riverhead (Long Island) New York. The position will provide horse care, barn maintenance, teach western riding to our at risk young men and woman in residence ages 12-25 years of age.
Duties:
Include: cleaning stalls, corals, grooming horses, tacking and western horseback riding. Other duties include caring for other farm animals and general maintenance of 60 plus acre ranch.
Requirements:
- Extensive background check
- Successful Trainings to work with youth that will be provided if hired.
- Valid Drivers license, age 25 and older required to drive.
