Keystone Ranch
Keystone Ranch is a family-owned ranch located in Pearsall, TX used primarily for hunting and social entertaining. As a ranch hand of the Keystone Ranch, you will represent the ranch in all work situations and be responsible for any/all tasks associated with the ranch, maintenance of the structures, dog kennels, deer breeding and hunting operations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain the Lodge building which include the exterior walls and windows.
* Check the exterior lights to make sure that they are working properly and changed out when needed.
* Maintaining the soffits, sidewalks, walkway and porch ceilings.
* Maintain the exterior of the Pump House, and pool cleaning.
* Support and help with lawn care and maintenance, as needed.
* Maintain the lawn of the Old Lodge and Bunkhouse in addition to cleaning the patio and the exterior walls and windows.
* Perform regular maintenance on the hunting blinds along with preparing for hunting groups and clean up after guest leave.
* Fill and maintain all protein, corn, fish and quail feeders.
* Assist with deer, dove and quail cleaning after hunts, as needed.
* Check deer breeder pens daily and clean water troughs as needed. You will fill breeder protein feeders and assist with the handling of the deer.
* Take care of the dogs on the ranch by feeding and exercising them. You will clean the dog kennels and dog area in addition to changing the dog bedding as needed.
* Perform tractor work to include shred, disc and spray.
* Maintain fences and roadways as well as cutting firewood.
* Check-in with the Ranch Manager on a daily basis for a list of duties.
* Assist owner and Ranch Manager with additional requests.
Required Skills:
* The ability to speak fluent English.
* Your own transportation such that you can work at Keystone Ranch on a daily basis.
* The ability to work occasional weekends, especially during hunting season.
* The ability to lift 50+ lbs.
* The ability to work outside on a daily basis.
* Experience maintaining interior and exterior facilities.
* Experience driving and maintaining a tractor.
* Experience working on a hunting ranch.
