3H Ranch is a multi-generational cow and calf stocker operation located in Cotton County, Oklahoma. 3H Ranch is approximately 8,000 acres in size with several thousand head of cattle. We are seeking an independent and knowledgeable individual with experience to join our operation. If you enjoy working outdoors, with livestock, and with heavy machinery, we would like to hear from you.
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Ranch Owner, the farm hand will: work with livestock to always ensure good health, perform maintenance on heavy machinery, mend fences, operate heavy machinery to cut, bale, stack, and move hay, plow, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and treating sick/lame cattle
- Feeding Cattle
- Maintaining heavy machinery
- Fix fence
- Swathing, raking, baling, plowing
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Knowledge of typical farm and ranch practices
- Ability to work long hours during harvest and planting seasons
- Ability to work outdoors in sometimes extreme temperatures
- Previous experience working with livestock
- Pay will be based on experience
- Experience with TMR feed mixing is preferred
