Ranch Duties
Deer Pens:
- Walk pens daily to check for dead/ sick deer.
- Check/ Change water 2x’s week
- Keep protein feeders full and check that they are free flowing
- Feed Textured feed, cotton seed 2x’s/week
- Administer Corid, dewormer as directed
- Notify me if you see a sick deer
- Fawn season, find, tag, take samples from all fawns
Ranch:
- Keep protein and corn feeders full
- Check for proper operation
- Spray grass/ weeds at every ranch gate so operators work without interference
- Mow all roads as needed
- Check all fence lines for coyote passages
- Spray fence lines for weeds 1x/ year
- Keep firewood stocked at lodge and fire pit
Advise as to any maintenance on equipment
October: clean windows on all blinds/ vacuum inside. Check each blind for heaters and propane tanks
Prepare / plant all food plots
Bunk House:
- Clean windows as needed
- Maintain lawn
- Misc maintenance
Lodge:
- Clean windows as needed
- Maintain lawn
- Misc maintenance
