Looking for a ranch hand for a family owned cow/calf operation in Lolo, Montana (approximately 25 minutes south of Missoula). Candidate must be motivated and able to work in a team setting and independently.
The ranch runs about 400 head of cows and uses ATV’s and horses for cattle work. Summers are spent haying, so equipment experience is a must. Experience with irrigation and irrigation systems highly preferred.
Duties will include: feeding cattle during the winter, calving out heifers, branding, general cow work, repairing fencing, irrigating, etc. Mechanical and welding experience is a plus.
At this time, we are looking for someone with cattle and equipment experience that understands that working on a ranch isn’t an 8-5 job.
