Looking for a ranch hand. Experience necessary.
Job description:
Clean stalls feed and water horses and cattle, repair fence. Must be able to handle and control foals to mature performance horse, this includes loading horses in trailer, catching horses in the pasture. Monitor the safety and wellbeing of the horse. The candidate needs to be able to saddle and groom horse. Place horses on and off hot walker.
Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in maintaining equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in working order. Familiarity with basic veterinary care is a plus, as is the ability to assist with breeding operations and foaling. Strong organizational skills are required to keep accurate records of animal health, feeding schedules, and inventory of supplies. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who is passionate about animal care and farm life. The job is 6 days a week unless you are needed for Sundays.
Salary based on experience.
