We are a boutique guest and working ranch in SW Colorado where we raise grass-fed beef/lamb, chickens, grow organic vegetables and operate 5 guest houses for vacation rental. We are looking for an individual farm hand or a couple to join our team to handle irrigation, pasture management, weed management, livestock care (small herd of cattle, sheep, chickens), general upkeep/maintenance for ranch implements, vehicle and tools, and assistance on guest service.

It is not a typical cowboy-on-horseback type of work, yet very rewarding if you like this type of lifestyle. Ideal candidates will be a couple or an individual who love animals, like the farming/ranching lifestyle, value hard working, self-motivated with good attitude, and willing to learn/take direction and not afraid of physical work.

Prior experience on flood/gated-pipe irrigation or holistic sheep/cattle management is preferred; handyman skill will be a big plus.
