Position Overview:
Your primary responsibility will be the overall care of our horses. This includes feeding, grooming, exercising, and monitoring the health and well-being of the horses. While your focus will be on horse care, you will also assist in other ranch duties as assigned by the Ranch Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily feeding, grooming, and general care of horses.
- Exercising and training horses as directed.
- Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns to the Ranch Manager.
- Assisting with other ranch duties, including but not limited to gardening, maintenance, cleaning, etc.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with horses is required.
- Strong knowledge of horse care and handling.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to assist with other ranch duties as needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to live on-site in the provided housing.
