Summary of Position:
The Farm hand / Cowboy is responsible for all aspects of ag production including spraying, drilling, swathing, raking, baling, loading, hauling, summer fallow, hasting, delivering, and all aspects of the hay operation. Take care of cattle, stockers, and cow-calf.
Responsibilities:
- Driving Tractor
- Drilling
- Planting
- Driving Combine
- Preventive maintenance
- Building fence; barb wire and drill stem
- Taking care of machinery
- Checking Fences
- Assisting with calving
- Vaccinating and doctoring cattle
- Building maintenance
- Drilling, harvesting, and spraying of crops
- Swathing, bailing, raking, and hauling of hay
- Running stocker cattle on corn stocks and/or grass
- Checking cattle
- Doctoring cattle
- Basic mechanic work
Required Qualifications:
- Non-Smoker
- Non-Vapor
- Punctual
- Hay experience
- Takes amazing care of equipment
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with cattle is required
- Must be comfortable with a stocker operation and building electric fences, barbed wire fences, and drill stem fences

This is an agricultural job with 24-hour responsibilities
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Environment: The Farm hand / Cowboy will be working outdoors throughout all 12 months, facing various weather conditions, including snow, hail, tornadoes, and other events They will operate around large, dangerous pieces of equipment, potentially encountering chemical exposure Working with
animals, often in unpredictable and hazardous situations, is also part of the job
