We are a large cow/calf operation near Three Forks, Montana.
We are looking for a ranch feedlot and farm manager for our ranching operation.
Duties include:
- Manage all ranch feedlot and haying operations, supervising 5-10 employees.
- Organize our cattle processing days for shipping and receiving, weighing and sorting, vaccinating, pregnancy checks, and brucellosis screening.
- Assist other key ranch employees in selecting potential replacement heifers, irrigating, fencing, and trailing.
- Supervise 5 employees in all aspects of winter pasture feeding program.
- Mentor and supervise employees in the operation and basic mechanical maintenance of farm and heavy equipment.
- Maintain cattle and feed inventories as well as all required feedlot records.
