Seeking the right individual for our ranch 18 miles north of Crawford, NE. We require this person to be honest, trustworthy and extremely accountable.
This individual’s duties would include, and not be limited to, helping take care of cattle and the upkeep of fences and water tanks. We use both ATVs and horses to move cattle, but this is not strictly a horseback operation. We use side-by-sides to check tanks and get through cattle, then on to the next task.
This individual would also spend time assisting with pivots, our farming operation or help wherever needed. They must be able to run equipment (hay processor and cake pickup), help adjust water for pivots, haul hay (if capable), and put up hay (swather, rake, and baler). Depending on experience/capability, helping run seeders and sprayers.
We provide housing, a good shop to work in, ground beef, competitive wages, employee health insurance, and 401K among other benefits. Valid driver’s license required.
