Seeking a dependable, energetic, hardworking individual with a positive attitude to help oversee a 2,500 acre hunting ranch operation with on-site living quarters available!
Responsibilities of the Facility Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Property Manager with daily tasks
- Check and ensure that facilities are clean at all times
- Perform duties required to keep equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds clean and ready for use
- Use of machinery and equipment as needed
- Assist with hosting special events and activities while providing excellent hospitality to guests
- Assist with meal preparation, and cleanup for all meals when guests are onsite
- Grocery shopping within a 200 mile radius
- Cleaning/housekeeping of all guest quarters
- Laundry to include washing, drying, and folding of towels, linens
- Complex cleaning maintenance; air filters, ice machines, grease traps
- Providing childcare services to guests
- Upkeep of the lodge and facility grounds including: light landscaping
- Help analyze and identify faults or problems in equipment or grounds to keep them in working order
- Demonstrates safe practices and compliance with property rules at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Facility Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Prior experience working on a ranch or in hospitality
- Able to perform outdoor yard maintenance on a weekly basis required
- Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependability, punctuality, good character and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently with little direction
Additional Information:
- Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required, ability to climb and descend ladders and stairs. Stand, walk, bend for extended periods of time, and reach with hands and arms
- Working Conditions: Work indoor and outdoor in all types of weather conditions
- Hours: Available to work extended hours and have flexibility to be on call and provide on-duty coverage on weekends and holidays as needed
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
