We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Ranch Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of a beautiful ranch property situated on 5 acres of land in Jackson, WY. With future plans to expand to an additional 80-acre property, this role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong management abilities and project leadership skills, along with expertise in both heavy and small equipment operation. They should demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and flexibility, coupled with excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
Responsibilities include overseeing property inspections and maintenance, ensuring vehicle and equipment upkeep, managing fencing and horse safety, coordinating with vendors, tracking tasks, maintaining safety standards, handling snow removal, and performing light maintenance and organizational duties. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., hold a valid driver’s license, be legally eligible to work in the US, and be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years prior experience in a similar role with verifiable references
- Strong mechanical skills and experience operating heavy equipment
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
- The salary for this role is commensurate with experience, with housing potentially provided for the right candidate. Please note, provided housing is not able to accommodate pets.
