Torino Ranch
This position requires a well-rounded, bi-lingual (English / Spanish speaking preferred) COUPLE demonstrating significant landscaping, maintenance & property management experience and responsibility including the ability to host events, flexibility, patience, cooperation, communication, competency and strong coordination skills. Cleanliness and organizational practices are considered core principles. The Ranch Managers are required to live on site a minimum of five days per week, Friday, Saturdays, Sundays are mandatory. Ranch Managers must also be on site full time for the summer months due to maintenance and Foundation Summer Camps.
Ranch Responsibilities
• Manage ranch business operations in a timely manner, ensuring utility and other Accounts Payable billing statements and expense reports are delivered to the Las Vegas Accounting Staff on regularly scheduled intervals.
• Manage all special permits and Public Water Systems policies and procedures.
• Provide weekly report to the property owner regarding any property or equipment deficiencies or malfunctions and develop plans to coordinate the appropriate action.
• Source vendors, supplies, equipment and machinery to find best price.
• Participation in landscape and building design projects. Ensure the health and diversity of natural plant life.
• Maintain seasonal greenhouse.
• Supervise and direct maintenance crews engaged in landscape, facility cleaning, maintenance and repair. The actual crew members may vary from season to season.
• Ensure facilities are “Guest Ready” at all times.
• Ensure water and power utilities are working and available at all times.
• The ability to professionally articulate and distribute meeting notes and share information with local authorities, various government agencies, fire prevention organizations, and construction consultants.
• Responsible for phone communication to and from the Ranch.
Ranch Management Qualifications
• Ability to communicate well in English and Spanish with maintenance crews, employees, consultants, construction trade personnel, and leasees.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. and perform rigorous tasks frequently.
• Solid background and knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, drip systems, and maintenance.
• Mindset should be one of appreciation regarding conservation issues as they relate to the Ranch.
• Focus on the creation of beautiful and immaculate grounds and facilities.
• Possession of a clean and Valid Nevada Driver’s License.
• Possession of a valid Nevada Health Card.
• Willing to participate in a background investigation as appropriate to employment in proximity to children.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coordinate teams by communicating and working effectively with grounds crew and various vendors.
