We are looking for a self motivated, hard-working individual to work on our ranch in exchange for RV lot. The ranch is located 30 minutes east of Sarasota, Florida.

The duties that need to be accomplished are: fencing, mowing, painting, irrigation (water lines and troughs), operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractor, utvs, generators, and zero-turn mower, pasture maintenance and rotation, feed, care of cattle (30 head), goats, chickens, ducks, etc , barns, weed control and maintain the organic garden and fruit trees.

As you know, this type of position is not an 8 to 5 job, though we will work with you to accommodate your needs for time off.

You need to have your own RV for this position. We provide a very nice, private RV lot with 50AMP service. Background check required. No drama. We have a quiet, peaceful habitation.

This position is well suited for someone who loves the rural farm life and who is looking to make a long-term commitment. The job requires experience working / living on a farm or ranch and requires a can do, team player attitude. In addition, the job requires the ability to work independently, organize time and tasks and align on priorities with the owner. This work/living arrangement is not suitable for children.
