Position Description:

The Ranch/Property Manager oversees the ranch land, structures, equipment, and operations. They ensure the ranch meets ownership goals by managing and developing infrastructure. They prioritize tasks, coordinate with staff, and ensure timely, efficient completion of all activities.

DUTIES

  • Oversee and manage various property projects and vendor activities, ensuring each project is completed successfully and efficiently.
  • Maintain ranch infrastructures such as fences, ponds, roads, water systems, housing, and buildings including construction, repair, and maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee household inventory, ensuring adequate supply and organization of household items.
  • Create and update household manuals.
  • Be prepared to assist with diverse tasks as requested by the Principals or the Chief of Staff, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as record-keeping of maintenance activities, inventories, scheduling, and correspondence related to estate management.
  • Running errands
  • Maintain all ranch equipment including the preventative maintenance, repair, acquisition, and disposition of numerous vehicles, tractors, excavator, power
  • tools, and other equipment.
  • Perform light handyman and technical duties, including some repairs and maintenance of equipment, structures, and systems on the ranch, if possible.
  • This is a 40hr position, however, candidate should have a flexible schedule and willing to work occasional weekends, holidays, evenings, etc as needed. This full-time position does require 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of property management experience, preferably in a similar market.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing systems, electrical systems, pool maintenance, general repairs, and general handyman tasks.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations effectively and professionally.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to use a wide variety of power tools, hand tools, and grounds maintenance equipment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles
