Small family ranch in Mt. Dora looking for caregiver to oversee property.
Responsibilities:
• Tend the land – mowing and handle prairie dog control
• Oversee and maintain ranch buildings (home sites, garage, and barns)
• Maintain fences and wells
• Light maintenance of windmills
• Manage and track annual maintenance vendors (HVAC, fences, wells)
• General maintenance/handy work – welding, painting, repairs,
Qualifications:
• Prior property management experience
• Basic knowledge of cattle ranching
• Fence building and repair
• Welding
• Must be able to drive a tractor
• Valid driver’s license
• Tech savvy – email, text, laptop (PC or Mac) Facetime, Zoom, etc. to send status reports to owner
Can be full-time or part-time.
No housing, car or gas allowance offered.
