Full time live-in ranch caretaker couple responsible for caretaking, including housekeeping, cooking/preparing meals, serving, laundry, grounds keeping and general maintenance of multiple buildings (incl. snow blowing, snow plowing, lawn care, general landscaping, spring and fall clean-up, sprinkler care, small repairs and carpentry)
- Responsible for the care of ranch horses (feeding, shoeing, vaccination schedule, riding, keeping the barn neat)
- Responsible for maintenance, servicing and repairs of all ranch vehicles and machinery (incl. cars/trucks, lawnmowers, landscaping equipment, boats, ATVs)
- Management of and liaison with service providers as necessary
- Report directly to the ranch management
- Required to assist ranch operations when needed
- Caretakers need to help each other when needed in each other’s fields of responsibility
- Possess a high sense of personal and professional integrity
- Flexibility is of utmost importance
- Willing to maintain a high level of detailed professional care
- Exhibit a good and positive attitude and good working spirit
- Non-smoking, drug-free (back ground check, drug test may be required)
- Caretakers rent caretakers’ house. Must keep surrounding of house pristine – good care inside and outside
- Two weeks vacation during off season
- Fair compensation commensurate with experience
