Chicaro Heritage Farms is committed to a homestead/regenerative style of ranching that takes into account an understanding of the land’s natural resources with a priority of building soil health and using animals to do so. Our goal is to work in harmony with nature to produce healthy food and combat climate change.
Primary duties include: rotationally graze and care for specialty homestead cattle, irrigate pastures with big reel irrigation systems, and maintain all fences (high tensile and barb wire) on 230 deeded acres and 845 state lease acres. Other duties may include working with chickens, pigs, and vegetable gardens.
Our mission is to build a healthier environment and produce healthier food, using regenerative agricultural methods. An inquisitive mind, good work ethic, and commitment to our mission is important.
