Hey y'all !
I am a college graduate with 15 years of combined barn management, trail guiding, and rodeo, experience. I obtained my bachelors degree in sociology with a heavy concentration in social media management and marketing. Horses, rodeos, and all things western have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. And after four years of working in Corporate America, I am looking to take my career in a different direction which better aligns with my passion.
I rode my first pony (bronc) when I was three years old, and it took me for the ride of my life. After my gallop around the paddock clinging on to his mane in utter glee, I knew I found my calling. I later ran barrels in my local high school rodeo and was a part of the Florida Pro Rodeo Flag Team. I now ride reining horses under a trainer in Fort Worth! I have a BA degree in Sociology, but my concentration has been social media and public relations. I think that I would be an asset to your team, and I would like to share why!
I am an ambitious, creative, high-volume producer with proven capability to identify opportunities to improve outcomes. I have demonstrated the ability to build relationships, educate large groups, and negotiate effectively by understanding needs and objectives. I worked in the staffing industry with many big companies to complete their staffing needs, managed large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner utilizing exceptional communication skills. In addition, I have social media management experience where I interacted with the audience on different platforms and evaluated all forms of marketing techniques. My main goal is to to create a cohesive brand, which encompasses your mission statement, values, and believes.
I am extremely comfortable in a saddle, and working with horses on the ground. I have experience starting colts, riding performance horses, and working with studs. I demonstrate sound judgement, and and work well under pressure and as a part of a team! I am confident in my ability to excel in any situation I am presented with.
I am looking for a full-time opportunity which will allow me to further my love and desire for horses and riding, and allow me to utilize my marketing and social media strengths.
