We are seeking a role managing a ranch property that may or may not also be a guest focused operation.
Jackson:
He grew up in central Texas spending his younger years working and hunting his father’s ranch outside of Glen Rose, TX. He went on to serve in the United States Coast Guard where he was station onboard a Coast Guard Construction barge on the Mississippi River. Here he developed through construction skills including but not limited to: running heavy machinery (Cranes, large all terrain forklifts, boom lift, excavators, bob-cats, etc.), arc welding, power tool usage, carpentry, electrical, hvac, plumbing, sanding/painting.
Following his time in the USCG he now works for Viking Cruise Lines as the Inventory Manager where he deals in logistics and procurement. This job has also honed his guest service skills as a senior manager onboard a cruise ship is required to be a resource to all guests onboard. Through both of these careers onboard ships he has developed a strong work ethic over the last 3 years from working 90-100 hour weeks with a positive attitude.
Olivia:
She grew up in a military household which took her all over the world: Japan, California, Mississippi, and North Carolina. Following her adventurous younger years she went to work on ships as a housekeeper. Where she thrived in a guest facing roll paying great attention to detail to create a memorable experience for her guests while upholding 5 star cleaning standards. After a year of housekeeping experience she moved up to the shore excursion department. Taking a roll as the Shore Excursions Manager. Now her roll for the last 2 years is to be the person responsible for planning and executing all guest activities onboard the vessel, while acting as the face of the cruise for the guests. Building impeccable guest service skills and developing the ability to create strong interpersonal connections that bring guests back again and again.
Our goal:
Our experience combined revolves around construction, hospitality, and live-in jobs. We are looking to move away from life onboard ships. But we wish to continue our hard work with a live-in ranch job that allows us to become fully invested into the lifestyle. We are young and willing to learn tricks of the trade not yet familiar to us, yet we are experienced and bring lost of physical and logistical skills to the table.
We are a non-smoking, non-drinking, non-drug using, Conservative and Christian couple. Who enjoys being in the outdoors, reading, and exercising. Which is what led to us starting our careers onboard ships. Where there are strict employee guidelines to be followed.
