Caleb S.
I’m Caleb S., a dedicated and versatile worker from Loganville, GA, excited to launch my career as a ranch hand and bring my strong work ethic, physical resilience, and hands-on skills to the job. While I haven’t worked on a ranch before, my diverse background has equipped me with the adaptability, teamwork, and practical abilities needed to thrive in this role. Since November 2024, I’ve been a Plumbing Apprentice with Brothers on the Side in Atlanta, assisting licensed plumbers with pipe installation, repair, and maintenance on residential and commercial projects. I’ve gotten comfortable digging trenches, using tools like shovels and compactors, and ensuring everything meets project standards—skills I can easily apply to ranch tasks like fencing or infrastructure upkeep.
Before that, I worked as an EMT with Grady Health System (August 2023–November 2024) and National EMS in Newton County, providing top-notch pre-hospital care in both fast-paced urban and rural settings. Those roles taught me to stay calm under pressure, assess situations quickly, and prioritize safety, which could come in handy for handling livestock or emergencies on a ranch. I also spent time as a Roof Inspector with Patriot Roofing (January 2023–August 2023), climbing ladders and assessing rooftops in all kinds of weather, proving I’m no stranger to tough outdoor work and paying close attention to detail.
As a Specialist in the Georgia Army National Guard since April 2019, I serve as a 13B Cannon Crewmember, operating howitzers and setting up firing positions during intense training exercises. This experience has built my discipline, teamwork, and ability to perform under demanding conditions, earning me multiple Army Achievement Medals for efforts like the “African Lion” exercise in Morocco (2021) and Covid relief missions. With certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician (valid through March 2026) and in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR, valid through December 2025), I bring first-aid skills that could keep both people and animals safe on the ranch.
I’ve also got experience in construction, carpentry, and security, and I’m confident my physical strength and problem-solving attitude will make me a solid fit for ranch work. I’m authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and ready to dive in.
