Looking for a full time cow/calf and/or haying operation with housing. Prefer to stay in South Dakota/North Dakota/ Eastern Wyoming as we would like to be close enough to be able to meet with potentials beforehand to make sure it is a good fit for everyone.
What I am looking for:

I don’t require new or the best equipment but I do prefer somewhere that takes care of their own equipment. I treat everything as if it were my own, clean, regular maintenance etc.
Work smarter, not harder. I try to avoid breaking things at all costs, I’m looking for someone like minded.
No cowboy outfits
ATV/UTV use, I do not ride. I am not opposed to outfits that use both though.
My qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience working on cattle ranches in various states.
- Over 10 years of experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment, I haven’t come across a piece of machinery that I haven’t been able to operate.
- Proficient in maintaining infrastructure, with several years of experience in carpentry, electrical, etc. Problem solver, if I run across an issue I like to safely and efficiently find the best solution.
- Extensive experience with water lines, both above and underground.
- Irrigation
- Haying
- Hauling
- Fencing
- Winter feeding
- Branding, calving, doctoring, gathering, sorting, AI, shipping etc.
- BQA certified
- Equipment maintenance
- Infrastructure
- I can operate and maintain Semis and grain trucks (I do not currently have my CDL though)
- Meticulous record keeping
- Work well unsupervised, alone and/or with others
- Communicate well
- Timely and efficient in the workplace
- Clean background, driving record
- No drugs, no drinking
I am a dedicated, hard working family man that is looking for a permanent place to make our home. My family is conservative, no drinking, no drugs, no drama. I do need at least a 3bdrm for housing, would prefer somewhere that would allow us to raise some of our own smaller animals. Good community, my kids enjoy 4H so that would also be a plus. My wife is able to work as/when needed also and brings just as much experience with livestock. Again, we are looking for a long term place to call home. Honesty is huge with us so please be honest when contacting us. Things need to work for everyone involved and in order for that to happen there has to be honesty.
