I’m looking for a property caretaker/ranch position; must be long term… Absolutely no feed lot or cowboy job.
I have worked on farm and ranching 15 +years. I have experience with pivots and maintenance, wheel lines, flood irrigation, most all ag equipment operation tractors, balers round and square, combine, windrower, rakes, seeding planting, tillage,etc. I do have cattle experience calving, checking health, feeding , moving from pastures to pastures and can treat them for illness when needed with proper vaccine as there is available . I’m better than average with welding and mechanical or just diagnosing an issue. I do have a cdl that is current with hauling cattle, hay, grain, some equipment also have quite a bit of heavy equipment operation.
Dozers, grader, backhoe, excavator skidsteer, etc. Experience with fencing barbed wire, electrical, rail. Weather it be maintenance or repair or just a complete rebuild. Have knowledge of spraying weeds and different types chemicals as knowing the types of plants. I can use chain saws as needed for removing dead trees as needed or cutting trees from fences.
