John T.
My name is John and I am looking for a new position working and living on a private estate. I have 20 years experience in the following.
As a property caretaker, I was in charge of maintaining the main house, garage, carport, guesthouse and barns. I kept the interior of all structures clean and organized. I have good organizational skills. I am always evaluating my work to improve my productivity. I had spare parts for mechanical, non mechanical equipment and electrical so I could make repairs.
I kept the fence repaired. I walked the property boundary. I kept the property safe from unwanted guests. I interacted with contractors. I mowed grass on the property including the fields. I paid for all my purchases with a credit card issued to me with my name on the card. I also carried petty cash.
As a pet caretaker, I have 20 years experience taking care of horses, dogs and cats. I also have experience taking care of llamas, sheep, goats, ducks, geese, turkeys and raptors.
In caring for theses pets, i kept all their habitats clean. I made sure they were safe during the day and night and checking on their health throughout the day. I always have fresh water and food for the pets. I keep all the pets on a schedule to help maintain their health and an environment where they can all live and thrive.
As a houseman I helped the house hold staff keep the house clean. I kept the house organized and comfortable as directed by my employer. I kept the closets in the house, pantry, refrigerator, and basement clean and organized. I chauffeured my employer on request. I grocery shopped, pick up prescriptions and dry cleaning. Walked the family dogs.
As a companion I planned and accompanied my employer to all his gatherings, family functions, and daily outings. I dove him to all his doctor appointments. When we traveled, I saw to all his needs on the plane. I saw that he was always happy and content throughout the day.
The gentleman I took care of had early onset dementia. I am certified in dementia care and went to 5 support groups a month for one year to learn more about the disease.
As a caregiver I kept my employer safe indoors and outdoors. I was always one step ahead of him to keep him safe.
I created activities for him to keep him active. I adjusted how I took care of him when his ability to function declined. I helped him communicate with his friends when necessary.
I do not smoke, I do not drink alcohol and I do not do drugs.
I have a resume I can send you which details my work experience.
Thank you,
John T.
