Don has experience in Labor, Retail Sales, High-Risk In-Home Care, and Cooking for large groups. He possesses a basic knowledge of Maintenance and Lawn Care, including Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, and Farm Labor.
Janelle has an Associate’s degree in General Studies and a Minor degree in Psychology from Mercy College of NW Ohio. She has experience Organizing, Planning, and Budgeting (event, meal, activity, etc.). She possesses Supervisory, Training, and Teaching skills, as well as Horse Experience, including basic Feeding, Exercising/Running, Grooming, and Mucking. Janelle also has Western Riding experience, but due to a severe injury, she is no longer able to partake.
Very interested in being trained in Agriculture, Farming, Horse and Livestock, Hospitality, Grounds-keeping, and Maintenance.
Possible Ideas: Helping out on the family farm, feeding and caring for the animals and livestock, helping and learning anything related to cattle and other farm animals, breeding, butchery, selling, etc., helping the family with caring for the home, caring for the land, crops, and gardens, helping with aging family members, running and grooming the horses, doing errands for the family, such as creating a shopping list and meal plan, then shopping for the items and preparing it, helping in any way with home-schooling children or helping with studies, and many other examples. Another idea would be for us to be hired by a Bed-and-Breakfast/Inn to do many jobs around there, such as care-taking, office work, cooking, housekeeping, management, etc.
We would like to remain within 70 miles of Dundee, Michigan to keep our current housing, though all inquiries will be considered.
