Hello,

My name is Josh C., and I am the owner of Emerald Coast Chefs, a luxury private chef company, servicing Pensacola, Destin, 30A, and Panama City Beach, FL.

I am a classically trained chef who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2004, and also an avid conservationist and outdoorsman, spending my summers saltwater fishing, and winters stalking hogs and whitetail deer. I have spent more than 20 years full time in made from scratch restaurant kitchens, with the last 10 years being an Executive Chef before starting my own private chef events company.

I have owned this company since July 2020, and the largest majority of our business here is dealing with wealthy clients from out of state, mostly March through September. I have decided to schedule my work for this fall/winter at a hunting ranch outside of Florida, and am looking for a good fit with an established outfitter.

I work daily with a variety of menu types, am very well-versed in cooking around allergens and dietary restrictions, and can accommodate anything from southern comfort food to high end fine dining. I’m very accustomed to working with wild game both at home and for clients, including preparing high end restaurant dishes from harvested game (elk, wild hog, nilgai, whitetail and blacktail deer, quail, dove, antelope, bear, sheep).

While my schedule is largely open Oct-Feb, I do have a couple dates already booked during that timeframe, and my schedule will continue to fill until I find the right match. I can work for 200-250/day plus tips ( I understand tips aren’t guaranteed and is largely based upon quality of service), depending on requirements needed by the guide. I’ll need 300/day if no housing is included.

I have excellent sanitation, organization in the kitchen, and personable customer service skills. I have the same hobbies your clients do, so I genuinely enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories from the field. While I am confident and experienced, I am also humble and don’t let my ego get in the way when something needs to be improved, or altered for the guest experience.
