I have been blessed by Abba Father with many skill sets though I know “Apart from YESHUA (Jesus) I can do nothing” John 15:5.
Skills include but not limited to rainwater harvesting, carpentry, Sawyer, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, gardening, farming, extensive experience with heavy equipment, (prefer track excavators have operated from mini track excavators to 108,000 lbs track hoes) also very proficient with Dozers, Road graders/maintainers, skid steers, trenchers, rubber tire backhoes, and much more in a variety of work settings to include but not limited to Utilities, residential, commercial, industrial, dredging, farm & ranch. As Former Commercial Pilot, CFII holder over 20 years who held A&P AGI & other licenses & certificates I have a very diverse background with much training & life experience acquired problem solving skills sets that enjoy the challenges of working with what we have as good stewardship of resources & time wherever possible to accomplish daily objectives.
Have worked self-employed, as sub contractor, General contractor, Project Coordinator, & Project Manager of which the most meaningful assignments were 4 deployments to Iraq building a Community Center for the Kurdish after the war & one to SriLanka (relocating &) rebuilding homes for a fishing village of 392 people that was destroyed by the Dec 2004 Tsunami.
My ideal work setting would be a remote large or small farm or ranch that is mostly self contained (off-grid focused) that has soul refreshing natural landscapes that shows off the Creator’s handiwork wether mountains streams rivers lakes forest or even deserts.
I enjoy working with others who believe Life is a gift from our Creator, to live life with eternal purpose & continual thanksgiving. Matthew 25:31-46 has hugely impacted my life & having had for over 30 yrs of opportunities to work with young men coming out of fatherless homes, or coming out of addictions or prison or just who have lost their way are a particular joy for me to work with & invest in. I would hope their would be a John 14:6 Faith Based community in which to fellowship & invest in nearby.
I would prefer to stay away from use of herbicides & pesticides that killed both my father & grandfather & prefer organic, GMO free- regenerative low till or no till soil practices without use or minimal use of chemicals. Some experience with AEA. If animal husbandry is a part of your ranch or farm I would prefer it would be or moving in direction of utilizing GMO free, organic & low stress methods & practices.
Housing a plus, I live simply & can make due in a metal building, shop or barn in a designated space (preferably insulated). I can build an out-house & portable shower if needed.
A/C not necessary but appreciated but having access to firewood for wood burning stove in winter is needed if there no other provisions for heat. I have my own chainsaws & can buck & split the firewood I would consume.
