I’m looking for a herdsman, or management position.
I’ve got a passion for cattle. I grew up working the family farm milking 250 cows and raising 100 replacement heifers a year.
I’ve managed an 850-1000 cow pasture based seasonal calving dairy overseeing all the day to day operations
and I’ve had my own cow calf herd.
I’m very hard working honest, and dependable. I take pride in any job I do and always treat any cattle and equipment I’ve worked with as if it was my own.
I pay attention to details, and don’t let things slide.
I’ve got a good eye for catching and health issues in cattle early on and am very proactive when treating/preventing health problems.
Low stress handling is very important to me
I can handle all aspects of cattle production from calving, breeding, weaning, heifer development, and back grounding/feeding.
I have extensive pasture management and haying experience.
I’ve supervised 6-8 employees
