We are a motivated, hardworking, and stable couple looking for a ranch employment opportunity. We are currently working between two horse ranches, one in Oregon and the other in California but are looking to relocate as soon as possible. We are looking for a ranch to call home in Montana, Colorado, or Wyoming but are open to other locations.
We have extensive experience and a variety of skills including ranch labor, horse and livestock care, riding and training, fence building, hospitality and administration.
We are open to long term or seasonal, living on or off property and experienced being in a remote location. We are happy to work either private ranches or guest ranches as we both have experience with ranch and guest services.
Skills and abilities:
- Trained in administering vaccines, de-wormer and intravenous medications
- Experience starting and training colts both wild and domestic
- Knowledagable in equine vet care including treating lacerations, spotting Internal obstructions and lameness
- Hauling gooseneck and bumper pull trailers in sever terrain and weather
- Internal obstructions and lameness
- Operation of chainsaws, tractors, skid steers, excavators and large farm machinery
- Experienced in welding, cutting torch, and pipefitting
- Executive/personal assistant
- Customer relations
- Childcare
- Booking travel/creating itineraries
