My name is Thomas and I grew up on a farm/ranch and I have extensive experience in all aspects of cattle and crop production such as animal husbandry, doctoring livestock, equipment operation, building and machinery maintenance, welding, and fencing. I have an AAS degree in Farm/Ranch Management, private pesticide applicator license, and a Class A CDL. I have attended several ranching for profit courses and as well as other similar seminars and those experiences helped me discover a passion for holistic and regenerative practices. I am hoping to find an opportunity on a ranch that uses those methods will help me develop my skills further.
Hello my name is April. I grew up ranching near a small town in South Dakota. We raised cattle and pigs. Watching my parents work, I learned that I am a person that learns things by watching. This has led me to learn many things throughout the years very quickly and learn something new everyday. I went to college at Lake Area Tech to obtain a Ranch Management degree to thrive with my passion for animals. I enjoyed my internships during college, being able to work for other ranchers around the state. I enjoy being able to work with livestock everyday. I make sure their health and performance is always at their best. Although cattle are still one of my main passions, life took a slightly different turn away from cattle and pigs, and led my interest into many other species of livestock including goats. I have now owned goats for 6 years and they have helped me to start a business – Naturezgirl Goat Milk Soap. When I am not with the livestock I love to garden, bake and make many different products from the goat milk. I have raised these goats for several years and am hoping to find an operation where they will be accepted as well.
We are a great team that can work well together, separately or with others and we are seeking long term position at an operation where we will fit in and can directly contribute to its success and prosperity.
