Hello,
My name is Matt H. and I’m looking to be hired on as a ranch hand. I’m 33 years old, and will be coming from Wisconsin. I have experience working on dairy farms and horse stables, but I’ve never done it full-time or professionally. I am an Army Combat Vet, so I am used to working in less than desirable conditions. I also have worked for the railroad as well. I don’t use drugs and rarely drink alcohol.
Im physically fit and have no problem performing physical labor for long periods of time. If your operation uses horses I do have experience around horses and riding them, though I would still consider myself a novice rider. I am comfortable around them though and catch on quickly. I’m well versed in repairing and installing fences. Mechanical/electrical/plumbing work I have little experience in.
I’m unmarried with no children so it would just be me, and I would need some sort of housing. I do have a truck, but as far as “stuff” goes I have very little.
I don’t participate in any drama. I’d be there to perform work at whatever standard you set, and take pride in doing it. I get along with anyone and work well with others. In my free time I enjoy reading and drawing/sketching.
I’m wanting to pursue this career because I’ve enjoyed this sort of work when I’ve done it in the past, I have great respect for those who do it, and I would like to live a relatively simple lifestyle.
