Seeking a horse-centric year-round farm hand on a SMALL HORSE farm in Clyde Park, Montana.
⚠️ This is NOT a large expansive ranch and we DO NOT have cattle.
We offer a completely stocked and furnished cottage (and utilities) IN EXCHANGE for am/pm chores and TLC!
Tasks include but are not limited to: tending to horses, goats, hens, rabbits, cats, plants, and property care with plenty of time for your own hobbies, passions, and remote work.
Seeking a CLEAN, fastidious, responsible, conscientious, non-smoking, minimal drinking homebody with equine experience and animal love. This is NOT a position for someone who commutes or is seeking a cowboy/cowhand ranch position.
Perfect situation for a SINGLE artist, writer, seasonal worker, retiree, or a remote (on-line) employee WITH HORSE EXPERIENCE & WITHOUT DEPENDENTS OR PETS.
Requires a strong, fit, healthy work-oriented individual who is neat, observant and respectful of other people’s property, loving of animals, a good communicator, cold-hearty and able to lift 50# feed sacks. Labor tasks include daily manure cleaning, snow removal, leaf and debris cleaning.
Should be handy and able to make small repairs. Excellent references, and resume requested.
Nearby skiing and social activities available. Nearby amenities include a walk to groceries, the PO, bank and gas. NOT REMOTE.
Available immediately – May 2024 at least.
Must be a US citizen.
