Seeking Part-time Barn Help on a Private Farm

Beautiful vineyard estate in Sonoma, California, is seeking barn help for 5 mornings a week, totaling 25 hours. We have nine horses ranging from mustangs to show-jumpers, and two rescued burros.

This position supports basic barn chores: cleaning stalls, turnout, feeding, washing buckets, making grain. However, there plenty of opportunities to ride for the right candidate, including trail riding and/or flat lessons on our horses, depending on your goals. We are willing to tailor the job for the right candidate.

You’ll work with another person but at times will have sole charge. We are seeking a responsible worker who loves horses, can follow directions, has an eye for cleanliness and organization, and who can commit to long-term, consistent work.

This position reports to the barn manager, who lives above the barn. Friendly staff, great owners, well behaved horses, and one very cool barn cat.
