Historic Granite Point Park is a family-owned business set on beautiful Loon Lake, WA that has served vacationers in the Pacific Northwest for 100 years. We are a well-loved summer institution with some of the best lakefront access and beach in the region. Many of our guests have been coming for generations, and we strive to make each and every visit to the Resort the very best of its kind for our guests.
We are looking for additional support in management and other key positions. Sample job openings include:
Assistant Resort Manager. Work from home on the lake—get up with the summer sun and walk the ¾ mile of sandy beach and the Resort grounds, let your kids discover forts and play on the acres of grounds, swim and play on the beach, visit with guests who have been returning for generations to our 100-year old family resort, and use your skills in business, marketing, management, and talents to manage our seasonal waterfront Resort. Best suited for an ambitious, driven professional (or a couple) who are good at people and project management. The job is multi-faceted and could be successfully performed by anyone from someone who hails from the resort/hospitality industry to a person who has worked as an attorney, accountant, project manager, general contractor, techie, or in marketing and sales.
Grounds/Maintenance. Entry level to Leadership/Management positions who ensure that all the grounds are raked, irrigated, and kept in top-notch condition, and/or maintain all of the structures and infrastructure at the Resort. A background as a general contractor, landscaper, maintenance or facilities professional, or similar occupation would be preferred for the leadership positions; but, all hard-working, detail-oriented, organized and handy persons are encouraged to seek more information.
Guest Services, Cook, Housekeeping Manager. Seasonal positions for cashier/guest services, housekeeping, landscaping/maintenance, and other general laborers paid hourly with the benefit of working in a fun, vacation-oriented environment on the lake.
We are flexible in terms of crafting the job expectations, setting commensurate salaries, and coordinating start dates (ideal would be March 1, 2022). On-site housing can be provided as part of the compensation package, and the positions can be seasonal, full-time, or some mix of two. One or more of the jobs could be great for a couple—even a couple with kids—who want to be able to have a great work-life balance, but also really make use of their skill sets.
