A privately owned, high-end guest ranch in Montana is seeking a Lodge Manager.

The 15,000 sq. ft. lodge has 10 private guest rooms, a commercial kitchen, bar, lounge, recreation area, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining patio, and a detached bunk house with additional sleeping quarters and bathrooms.

The Lodge Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the facility up to and including:

Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising seasonal help
Scheduling and overseeing daily meals, cooking, kitchen activities and staff
Hiring and working with vendors
Providing a welcoming environment for guests, with high standards of hospitality
Coordinating special events and entertainment for owners and guests
Overseeing housekeeping
Menu planning with chefs on staff
Admin functions include bookkeeping, creating detailed invoices for owner visits, maintaining inventory, food and beverage ordering, etc. Must have general PC skills (Word and Excel)
Maintain smooth operating standards of service, meals and overseeing housekeeping to meet the owners’ expectations
Cooking/kitchen help
Great interpersonal skills
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in Lodge

This is a demanding and fast-paced job during the summer season which requires someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, hands-on environment. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, and on-site housing is provided for one individual (no pets).
