New Mexico Horse Rescue @ Walkin' N Circles Ranch
Experienced live–in caretaker for horse rescue. Reports to the Executive
Director, 5 days a week, housing provided. Must pass a background check ,
have a valid driver’s license, and have basic computer skills, professional
mindset, will be responsible for daily feeding and care of herd of up to 70
horses and ranch maintenance.
Needs Mechanical and operational skills with equipment, vehicles and gate/
fencing hardware; a working knowledge of horses, horse behavior and other
equine along with the ability to recognize health problems and dangerous
horse behavior. Must be able to load and trailer horses as needed using ranch
vehicles. A minimum 2 years of related experience with horses or other
livestock. Basic knowledge of water systems, wells and plumbing. Proven
ability to self-motivate and self-direct. Physically able to lift 60 lbs or more.
Housing provided.
